ANBU HQ Maps

(Subbasement maps accessible with clearance from T&I, see Shida Akumaru)

**The ANBU Compound**

ANBU, isolated from the regular Konoha ranks and civilians alike, is nearly a world unto itself; this is reflected by the all-encompassing nature of the ANBU compound, a three-story building on the far side of the Hokage's administrative offices that extends some unknown depth underground.

Apartments The upper floors of the HQ building are devoted to housing. Living on-site is not mandatory, but ANBU offers cheap living space to its agents as part of their contracts; living at HQ has the advantage of not bothering the neighbors with comings and goings at all hours. The apartments have only half-baths and mini-kitchens; they are sparsely furnished, and agents often supply their own furnishings.

On the lower floors, basements and subbasements are:

Front lobby with reception desk for non-ANBU -- Anyone not part of ANBU must get clearance from the Hokage to pass further into the building.

Offices -- Where ANBU's administrative work takes place; staffed mostly by Chuunin employees.

Debriefing rooms -- For outlining missions to outgoing teams; located inside the offices.

Interrogation/holding rooms -- Obvious, right? Located deep underground.

Laboratories -- The compound has two lab facilities, one equipped for working with poisons and other chemicals, the other for forensics work. Intelligence officials cooperate with Konoha medic-nin to run the labs, and most findings are shared with the laboratories at Konoha Hospital.

Cafeteria -- Known, as are cafeterias around the world, for having alternately tasteless and completely inedible food, but cheap and open nearly 24/7 to accommodate crazy schedules.

Rec room -- Directly adjoining the cafeteria is a small space for agents to unwind, with a TV, stereo, a few board games, and some books and magazines on hand.

Supply room -- Where the ANBU quartermaster issues uniforms, spare kunai/other weapons, first aid kits and so forth.

Medic's office -- The ANBU compound's dedicated medic is on hand to treat minor complaints, but seriously injured ANBU are referred on to more expert care at Konoha Hospital.

Showers and changing rooms -- Spacious areas with group showers in open rooms on each residential floor, plus one off the basement training room, segregated by sex; the changing rooms have a wall of lockers, one assigned to each agent.

Baths -- Large, utilitarian communal soaking tubs, segregated by sex. Connected to the first floor showers. One showers for cleanliness, then soaks for relaxation. These are not fancy baths--grey tile, fluorescent lighting, but the water is always hot and the baths at least passably clean.

Training area -- Multiple rooms full of exercise equipment and open space for practicing martial arts, jutsu, and so on.

You're missing Aoba. He's in 324, next to Yuzuya.

When you get a chance, Natsumi's in room 305 (and should we add the NPC Hayashi Eisuke to room 307?)
