Loved it! Kakashi always said that he pushed people away, and now he actually tries. Loved the clash of reason and emotion, both Ryouma and Kakashi's devotion and refusal to let go. Very nice how never once did Ryouma say directly that he was afraid Kakashi was reacting to his hands, but the guilt was there and partially admitted anyway. But Ryouma just never lets anything get him down for long! I enjoyed the nurses at the end, too.

I've been reading FL for a few months now. So in general: I'm totally amazed by the writing here! Spend a lot more time than I ought reading, because the stories and the characters and especially the prose is so great.

Lead me away & Tsume/Raidou thread

Oh oh... :D I totally read this while I should have been working but I got so hooked I couldn't stop!!! ARGH I knew the angst was coming but wow... Kakashi and Ryouma just broke my heart I wanted to shake and hug them all at the same time :) I think my favorite line of the whole thread so far is ""I didn't ask you to love me, anyway. I think I'm damned well smart enough to know you're not capable of it, even if I wanted--"" I think that perfectly sums up them right now >_> !

I thought the mask bit was perfect :) I would say my second favorite line was Kakashi thinking how nobody had ever given him a mask :D and of course it comes pre-scented with the Ryouma 'dognip' (lol!) so it's doubly perfect :) heheh i can't wait to see Tsume's reaction when he seems them chained to the bed snuggled up with Ryouma's pant leg around Kakashi's face <3 that has to be a hilarious sight!!

Just fabulous ladies thank you so much for sharing :) Is there still more to come?

Tsume/Raidou's thread is really nice :) I always like seeing Tsume with her family and it was a bit surprising but nice that Raidou would come see her. I loved how he summed up all the rumors (and the riverbank bit lol I can't wait till someone lets that slip to kakashi >_> ) I'm looking forward to more there :) but it's a really nice start. And indeed how badly hurt is Tsume's face? I guess we'll find out soon! :)

hmmm don't have an IJ...but just had to comment. I stumbled over scarlet_spiral, read most of the threads there and then got led over to fallen_leaves - I've been doing nothing but reading because this is really really some very good RPing (the OCs are awesome. Never really seen better OC insertions into the naruto fandom) and much better than a lot of the naruto-verse pre-canon fan fiction out there right now. Plus, it's insanely addictive!

=D I'm currently following the ryouma-tsume story arc with a lot of interest (and kakashi/straight!ryouma boggles my mind but it's so very very sweet).

Nightmare thread! Pulling out the very bestest parts...

Dude. Freak! Not, "don't hit me, asshole," or "are you okay, what's wrong?" But FREAK! *dies laughing* I love Ryouma. :D

awwww, and the insult hurting worse that the skin being removed by asphalt ow owowow.

awwww, and Kakashi's so upset about not telling Ryouma to buzz off earlier and being a freak! *pets him gently*

Oh, man, and the time it takes Ryouma to piece it all together--and his reaction which is GLORIOUSLY non-girly. You rock, Ki. :D

And oh, man, that bit with Kakashi opening his sharingan eye and seeing the awful and it collapsing in on itself (great description, btw)! Which is awesome, because it hadn't occurred to me that ugly would be replaced with reality, but of course it would! :D

And then banter! *LOVES the banter!* And Kakashi JOKES about sleeping with Ry and Ry dying! That's... awesome. :D And Ryouma's ripposte and hesitation about sleeping with someone, in vs out of teh village! *winces* And yet, no girly emo. Seriously, guys, this is so much stronger for all the understatement going on. :D

And this, I'm having writerly glee and making connections you likely didn't mean, BUT, right on the tails of speaking of Tsume (!!!): He was pretty sure opening up old wounds wouldn't fix anything, but maybe honesty would.
Which is exactly what he was asking her for and said would help in both Ankle Biters and the beginning of DOOM and she keeps saying no! *loves him for being willing to do what he's asking for*

Oh, my, GOSH. Kakashi is such a Bad Man! But I love this line. It kills me ded: You can--sleep or something and I can glare at people and Tsume can sniff you until her drugs wear off and we'll all be happy.

*DIES*

And Ryouma's RESPONSE! From the anger to the, "You're not getting rid of me and I'm not falling in love with you and you can stop being a jackass!" It's all BRILLIANT! *loves him!*

And Kakashi! With his "why are we talking about LOVE?!" *loves him out of sheer spite*

And then they turn into bickering best boy friends. You know. The ones who insult each other and beat each other up and then go out for non-alcoholic beer. *falls over laughing*

I love the old knee injury. Ironically, I started to write one into DOOM for Tsume, but took it out because there was already so much going on. *laughs*

Dognip! *flails*

And--His granddad broke his KNEE? *FLAILS* And I love that Ryouma's got all this horror, but he's willing to talk about it! *loves on him*

PACK. I love the forming pack. *grins*

Oh, man, their whole conversation about family is just brutal. *winces*

How you guys make going DOWN A FLIGHT OF STAIRS that painful, I'll never know. Yeowch.

Dudes. THE NURSE. *falls over laughing* Braid his lips together! Memos! Of COURSE Kakashi's had memos! *cracks UP*

And not passing out, damn it! (Tsume WOULD kill them.) And the return of the nurses. Gods, I love them. :D

I love the return to "I want the good drugs!" That kills me. And the fight over the mask! Man. o.O (I LOVE Naoto!)

Kakashi's bit about anger getting him up! And then falling over anyway. *laughs* Poor guy.

And Kuro! *pets him*

Dude, and they get CUFFED. That's the best thing ever, possibly seconded by the CUDDLING. And Ryouma mumbling about coffee. *falls over*

Brilliantly done, m'dears! You rock. :D

Hey, guys! I just wanted to drop you a line and say I really liked this thread! The tension was great, as was some of the explanation behind Kotetsu's rage (though I'd still like a further explanation there--why there was so MUCH rage, for instance! This gave us some great hints, but I want more than breadcrumbs, damn it! *grins*). You guys write great sparring scenes, I must say. WOW.

You really did a great job of keeping the tension there! And just when I thought, "Okay, I think I know where this is going..." Ryuichi had his little almost-panic-attack, and it spun me into left field without being out of character or making me go, "Wait, what?" GREAT build-up, both in writing it from Ryu's pov, and in Ko's internal monologue letting us know that, hey, it's expected that he tap out! That little detail does a great job of telling the reader--me!--something's up, and I should pay attention!

I love the show of compassion and friendship we get from Ryuichi at the beginning (and the bits of, "Well, if I have to get beaten... No, hey, wait a minute! That hurts!" Those killed me!), and then the whole thing switches--I mean, everything from Ko being the upset one to Ryu being the upset one, and from Ryu knowing something's wrong with Ko and trying to soothe to Ko knowing something's wrong with Ryu and trying to soothe... And then Ko gets to show his awesome compassion! And where Ryu is compassion and stocism, Ko is compassion and awkwardness. *laughs* Ah, boys.

And they're both such awkward teenagers about it! *laughs* Don't press, and don't talk about it, etc. Poor guys! I love it.

And the end is great--they haven't really solved anything, but everything is back to normal and in a way, that in itself is a solution. Though I'd still like to see what's up with that rage on Ko's end, and the sneaking suspicion that we haven't seen the last of these issues on Ryu's end... which leads great into character interest and further threads. *grins* Great job! I really enjoyed it! :D

I LOVE this community
[info]inklingobscura.livejournal.com

I started reading the stories here a little while ago when jbmcdragon mentioned she wrote in the community. I'm sorry for lurking and not reviewing sooner, but I never know what to say. These are just a few of the things that I love.

-All of the ninja ACT like ninja, even when the teenagers act like teens
-All of the ninja act like PEOPLE, too, not just plot vehicles
-Haruichi's snarky attitude and the trouble it gets him into
-The way most stories incorporate past events or details from other stories, creating a coherent world
-That Genma and Kakashi have a real and irresolvable reason for not getting along
-Every writer's take on ANBU and what they do
-The use of chakra and jutsus and more physical skills
-Kakashi's relationship with his dogs (and their personalities!) and his willingness to sacrifice everything he has for his teammates (with all the good and bad results of that attitude)
-Tsume, Kuromaru and the whole Inuzuka clan (you even write kids who behave like kids, not precocious, too-sweet brilliant mini adults!)
-Everyone's scars, physical and emotional, and the way they deal with them
-Genma and Raidou, the way they keep each other together
-The relationships between characters- romantic, rivalrous, mentoring, enmities - they all work really well

This is the first collaborative/RPG I've read that doesn't make me cringe. Every single story here is better than most of the standard format fanfiction I've read.

All of you do an amazing job, not just with the technical aspects of writing (especially adding in description and physical details), but with great characterizations and engaging storylines.

Your OC's are stunning - I caught myself starting a google search for more Ryouma stories before I remembered that he wasn't a canon character. The world you've created is dark enough to remind me that these are ninja- without getting graphic enough to squick me (I loved the Mission of DOOM).

In short, thank you all for writing such amazing stories.

Dude, you guys, that was SO cute. I love the little hints toward the beginning about other aspects of their lives--Hayate's mention of his mother, or rather a lack of a mention, and ... uh... there was a Ko one, too, but now I've forgotten. I blame the bad day. Actually, you both had several; nice little character glimpses that make me go, "Hey, I think there's a story there..."

And then the crush! And Hayate being clueless and Ko being like, "But I'm crushing on Ginta! Really! >.>" and then Haya NOT being clueless and, yeowch, that test. *winces* Poor Ko. And then poor Hayate, feeling so bad! And then they try to make it better! *HUGS THEM BOTH* Seriously, seriously, a really sweet little story that makes me enjoy both characters. Well done. :D

Ending of Tsume/Raidou thread :) and musings
[info]ashcat
2008-09-03 01:58 am UTC (link)
Aww finished the RaixTsume thread :) I really like that you're shaping them up to be friends!! I like that Tsume will have someone to talk to that she doesn't have to be 'alpha' for and she doesn't feel too worried about their opinion :) it was really nice and how Tsume was explaining a bit about her family shows she could be real friends with Raidou and his acceptance of the information :) and processing.

Loved Yasuo poor guy :D but awesome him checking Taro! :D heheh and I like how you wove Yasuo's place with the kids in so well without being heavy handed with it.

Heh the end... I was really surprised to see Tsume *jealous* ... now that was not one of the reactions I expected I had believed her when she didn't really want Ryouma's attention or that she didn't take it seriously but I guess she took it alittle more seriously than she wanted to... heh what drama :D horray! I really do hope we get at leastone more hospital Ryouma/Tsume/Kakashi thread :D to let them talk when a little less drug addled :) Besides Tsume still has to figure out how much of her face is left O_o and in what condition!

I am just snickering to myself imagining the possible conversations here... when Tsume initiates a query as to wtf is up with ryoumaxKakashi and then the possible responses :D

Also I hope we see Raidou go be gossip king :D hehehe him talking to Genma would be hilarious :D and of course still waiting on Ginta's reaction :)

LOL for a rpg that had no romance we've certainly gotten a bit tangled all of a sudden :) it's fun to see how the added element changes (and doesn't change) things!

Late feedback on Mission of DOOM
[info]lobademibu
2008-09-05 08:13 pm UTC (link)
I made a small comment a long while ago somewhere in the middle of reading this thread, but never a proper review. So I give you now, in super fashion--

My thoughts on the Mission of DOOM:

What can I say? How can I put into words what this thread made me feel? It was something that affected me so much I had to sit back and chew on it for a long while before I could type up anything coherent.

In the first installment, with Ryouma wanting to know, and Tsume being unable to tell him, that tension and confusion between them was so beautifully written I could almost taste it. It was a good place to start, with a topic I was dying to see addressed and it unfortunately got me into the "oh hey this isn't too bad" mindset. It disarmed me of the mental shield I had prepared to endure the DOOM you had warned for this thread. Even when they got into the thick of things with the bandit fight, I found myself thinking -- "No worries, this'll work out just fine."

Then Shiki appears.

I got goosebumps the minute Ryouma told Tsume to pull out, because I knew she wasn't going to. And I realized then, too late to grab that mental shield, that the DOOM had arrived . . . and well, like I said goosebumps.

It was shortly after this fray began that I started fearing the worst. I thought, no . . . they wouldn't . . . would they?

And you did. You effin' did. You did one of the worst things possible to two of my favorite characters. Augh . . .

I remember thinking, Ryouma is never going to be the same after this. Because, how could he be after something like that?

And Kuromaru? Ay, Kuro! Ay! Ay! Ayyyyyyyyy! Stupid idiot made me cry jumping in front of Tsume like that. Not just, oh a little tear cry, like sob my heart out cry. JB, I hate you for it, but I love you for it.

I had to stop reading after Ryouma made contact with Kuro. I had to turn away and do something else for a while, because I needed time to prepare myself for the agony that I knew would follow afterward.

When I came back, and read those horrible horrible scenes, between Kuromaru & Tsume's agony, and Ryouma's torture, to everything that happened afterward, with Tsume calling the wolf, going back to rescue Ryouma, his efforts to save Kuro, her clone back at headquarters, Kakashi's race to find them, their efforts to keep Ryouma from breaking, Haruichi's efforts to save them . . .

At this point, I have no words left in English to describe the emotions surging through me as I read. So here for you now is a lesson in Puerto Rican: ¡Ay bendito!

It is a phrase used to collectively describe all of the grief, sympathy, horror, sorrow, and pity one is feeling at any given moment. Tone and repetition express the intensity of the emotions behind the phrase.

As I read through to the end of the DOOM mission, the only thing that I can say to you to describe its affect on me is:

¡Ay bendito!
¡Ay bendito!
¡Ayyyyyy bendiiiiito!

.
.
.

Congrats to Kilerkki, JB, Dark, and SNA on tearing my heart to bits. ~ T^T

War Stories
[info]lobademibu
2008-09-06 02:18 am UTC (link)
War Stories:

I really enjoyed this thread and the glimpses it allowed of the characters' past.

Kakashi was such a BRAT, but I loved his interactions with Minato. They went from hilarious, to 'aww', to serious and insightful. One scene that particularly struck was this one:

Kakashi wrenched himself away. "I do not need a babysitter!"

"Then stop acting like a child." Minato gave him a sharp look, mouth falling into an unhappy line.

Kakashi flushed and broke the staring match first.

I think it brilliantly demonstrated how Kakashi, while a genius, was still incredibly immature and stubborn to the point of annihilating good sense. I seriously wanted to buffet him when he took off as soon as Minato left. Although the chase was rather amusing. OMG, had I been drinking something I would have short circuited my keyboard and/or asphyxiated.

Favorite lines:

"And I told my sensei, who'll explode both our livers if I let you get away. Believe me, kid, you don't want Sensei mad at you. She'll . . . She'll watch you in the bath."
~Oh Ryouma, lol. ^.^

Kakashi stabbed him in the kidney. "You little bitch!"
~Pfft, rofl! ^__^

He blinked through a splash of ugly coloured lights, and stared at the teenager holding him up. "You hit me."
~YES! LMFAO! XDDDD

"And your mother sold herself on the street and your father didn't even pay--"
~LO--fucking--L! OMG, I nearly died laughing!

Ryouma, Ryouma, Ryouma. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways . . .

*Massacres the fangirlism*

Ahem, so yeah, Ryouma had me laughing so often here. Especially when he went off after Kakashi. But beyond that, I really enjoyed seeing Hitmoi-sensei through his eyes. The way he saw her as a goddess was so . . . sickenly cute and romantic.

Something that really struck me, was the way Hitomi referred to Ryouma's hands as filthy when he was trying to get her to let him see the map. I can only assume she meant because of his jutsu. And to hear Ryouma so casually answer he had already washed them six times, really kinda broke my heart.

Was he used to these kind of comments from her? More over, why as his sensei, would she say something so cruel about what Ryouma must have already been self-conscious of?

I dunno, I think I remember in that thread way back when Ryouma first met Tsume, how he was almost obsessively washing to get the stink off, and so I assume if he was kinda self-conscious about it then, he must've been even more when younger; whether or not he was overt about it. So I would think a teacher would not try to add to it by saying things like that. So what gives? Hitomi seems like the kind of person who does everything with a reason in mind. Was it to create distance between her and Ryouma, since he was in love?

And you kept breaking my heart with the way you described Ryouma's reactions to any positive attention from her. I was 'aww'-ing like a friggin idiot. Like when she said something at one point, and you wrote "Ryouma glowed."

Aww, just frickin' awww. I wanna squish him.

I also felt like Ryouma had a real fire here; like he was determined to prove himself to everyone or something. It was endearing, and just squeezed my heart till it ached. I dunno, I just have this thing for street kids and their troubles and growing pains, and struggles for recognition. And Kilerkki you just make him so easy to love. He's one of the only OCs I've ever come to fanatically adore.

(And IJ sucks for saying my comment is too long . . .)

Come Hell or High Water
[info]lobademibu
2008-09-06 05:17 pm UTC (link)
Okay, so I'm continuing to work backwards through everything I've read. And I don't believe I ever commented on this thread. So here goes.

My honest first reaction when I saw this thread was a rather fangirlish squeal of: OMG! HARUICHI!

Ehehehe . . . ^^;;

This had me tense pretty much all the way through what with Kakashi in such bad shape and the peril of discovery hanging over their heads, but throughout everything Haruichi had me snorting my soda more than a few times.

Lines that made me lmao:

~"Kakashi, honest to the gods, could you be more freaking morbid!"

~"It's simply spectacular to see you again too, you sawdust-brained idiot."

~"Oh don't make me slap you."

~Haruichi resisted the rising urge to slam his face into his palm and stay that way until the world imploded.

~Bite me, you little git.

Oh Haruichi, your snark is food for my soul . . .

Kakashi, surprisingly didn't irritate me in the least in this thread, which is unusual for him. He was so tired and hurting so much. The way you described him in pain really made me hurt with him, and I wanted to cuddle him so badly.

These lines killed me:

~He couldn't see and he couldn't think and it needed to stop. It all needed to stop. He needed to pass out or die or anything just as long as it stopped hurting.

~"You're nice?" he rasped finally, voice a raw croak. He had to resist the urge to lean his head against Haruichi's shoulder and do something completely foolish, like cry on him. "When did that happen?"

~He was not going to cost Haruichi his life. Not if he could help it.

Frickin, just awwww.

And OMG! This line:

"You," he snapped at Kakashi, "stop being a self-sacrificing moron. I need you, even if you think no one else does. Or had you forgotten that?"

Oh Pakkun! Pakkun! Pakkun de mis amores, Pakkun!! I wanted to pick him up and squeeze him till his eyes popped out of his head. He was simply too adorable worrying about Kakashi like that. My brain could hardly handle the cute. You know that under his irritable facade Pakkun cares, but it means so much more to see him bare like he was in this thread. *Sighs and glomps Pakkun*

As soon as the water started coming in, I became riveted to the screen, and there was nothing that would pull me away from the it before those three were seen to safety. Kakashi's panic at drowning and his anxiety over Pakkun had me on pins and needles. And Haruichi?

Sna, you KILLED me DEAD with this:

Only half a foot of air now and he could barely keep his grip, only a minute more of this then the black water again. That rushing deaf blankness. Oh, Hoshi.

jadsflkaihgfnagbn
HARUICHI I LUFF U!

*shoots the fangirl*

. . . Ahem, I figured at some point during some mission, Haruichi was gonna have a close call and think of her. I knew it, I knew. But the way you wrote it. Those two simple little words were like a slap in the face . . . and a stab in my miserably empathic heart. And that moment where he thinks of Pika as his? Ahh . . . priceless. ^_^ And again here:

We're going home. I have to punch Genma. Hoshi's waiting. I want some coffee.

The casual flashes of thought with which you portrayed Hoshi's importance to Haruichi was much more striking than if you'd have waxed on it for a paragraph. Those lines were delicious; I wanted to top them in whipped cream and just eat them.

( . . . character limits suck. *kicks IJ*)

Wheeee!

I love the descriptions of the curry! >.> Mostly because I remember molten crab curry I had back home, and while it starts out mild, it steadily builds till you burn in the mouth and eyes and... there were these sweet fried buns that you dipped into the curry sauce, and ate till you gained twenty pounds.

<.<

Yeah, curry descriptions get me. And I can't even eat the really hot ones.

And and and! The way Genma and Raidou sparred in the food! Bluffing and making a stand, pride not letting Raidou backdown, the joking... it's such a ... man thing, I think. Or at least when they think about it in those terms (Let's say it's a social thing, a show of machisimo, since girls do it too, they just don't get the 'good for you being brave!' sort of thing guys get). And then the battlefield terms! Back up and sparring and...

Mmmmmmm. They go back and forth like pretty ping pong. :D

I likes. IS it finished?

LOL :) I love the title on this one hehehe >_> I had to go look up the song on youtube to listen to it :) heh how appropriate!

I kept laughing as I was reading this one :D as Kakashi and Tsume are rubbing all over Ryouma and describing his scents lololol!!! Thank goodness Ryouma is asleep eh? I think the poor guy would be confused and self conscious after that discussion hehehe and them both trying to be all possessive and scenting on him <3 lol that's just awesome!!

And the description of Ryouma's not gay hehehe he's flexible :D I wonder of Kakashi and Tsume will remember this conversation...

Only thing better will be for Raidou to grab a pic :D though I think someone might die if that happens lol <3 :)

Though uh oh - they've been bathed! O_O

Can't wait to read more :D <3

So, I'm continuing to work backwards through the threads I've read, and remembered this short Tsume thread.

This piece while brief says so much about how Tsume thinks. It was hilarious, and endearing. I loved how JB included the crossed out errors. I couldn't help but laugh at her spelling, and every time she changed words when she found it too hard to spell something, or excluded an opinionated phrase or two. It gave me the image of a much younger cadet age Tsume trying to write a report; and knowing her real age just made it all the more cuter.

And the fact that at the end of it all it was actually the third draft. ROFL. *Glomps Tsume* Seriously too cute.

Ok, Dark set me a project.

She asked for an ANBU banner.

It kept me up last night thinking how I could put one together. The best conclusion I have come up with is to produce head-shots of all the different character's being played and arrange them into a suitable layout.

I present you with the missing ANBU and then the final design :D

Genma's back!

I loved the interplay between Genma and the old woman. I kind of felt sorry for them both :) 2 sad people meeting in a sad place at a sad time. Yet it wasn't depressing to read. In fact, rather intriguing :D

Can't wait for part 2!! Your pros and characterisation are so good :D The little details about dress and mannerisms make all the difference.

Granted, I was a bit dubious about the bloodline limit, and the Sam icons (purely personal preference!), but that aside, I must say that Kaito is up to the usual JB standards. :D

Still trying to figure out how the hugs thing works - he can't force out reactions that aren't normal, so obviously a hardassed bastard who doesn't believe in hugs isn't going to hug Kaito. Which was an interesting scenario. *considers Ryuichi meeting Kaito. Dies laughing*

Raidou thinking that about chuunin makes me wanna smack him. A little. >.> Mostly because just because they're not highly powered work-horses doesn't mean Chuunin can't do it in ANBU... Depends on their personality and specialty.

*eyes Kaito* And his personality is so not the seduction type. *shakes head* It's his bloodline limit, which just...

I like the way the Powers That Be has decided that Kaito is perfect for seduction missions, never mind his personality (So very different from Sumire and Genma!) the bloodline limit is obviously more a hinderance than a help, especially since Kaito has no control over it.

Which makes me wonder what kind of person he IS if he could control his emotions and the bloodline limit to perfection. Kinda scary to think about someone who can manipulate his/her own emotions to within different shades of "I'm so angry I'll hit you" and "I'm so angry I'll lose control".

Maaaaybe, they should stick to someone who actually has control over their abilities. Or have none at all, like Genma.

Aaand the usual - Raidou's snark, Raidou's quirky brain. Kaito's teenage defensiveness, shiny ANBU masks... so on and so forth. Cute. I like the chuunin at the hospital. :D

And Raidou's constant reminders to himself to smile?

Me: SMILE, YOU'RE ON CANDID CAMERA.

/mean

Hee, they're going to get along like wildfire.

*squeaks*

Tearing At The Seams!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it totally deserves the exclamation marks I'm nearly crying for some reason! It can't end there! MEHHH!!

Ryouma and Kakashi in the other room, with Ryouma's heart trying desperately not to break and Kakashi finally finding something he can understand. Whilst Tsume is watching her world be slowly reconstructed, one grain of sand at a time, knowing it will never be the same again. With guilt and confusion hanging over them all.

Simply wonderful writing!

OHHHHHH, darn it, now I'm gonna have to keep hitting the refresh button all night!

Breaking Up is Hard to Do
[info]lobademibu
2008-09-21 02:42 am UTC (link)
Okay . . . so I promised myself that I wouldn't comment on the newest threads before I finished commenting on previous threads, but I think if I don't comment on this tonight I'll put it off and not have the same feeling when I finally write it.

So, earlier on LJ in a comment to Nezuko regarding this thread, I sort of predicted this:

Celebration must be had at every opportunity of Ginta thread, regardless of whether or not that thread will break my heart. Which considering how things have been going about in the FL universe, it will not only be broken, but chewed up and set on fire too.

. . . I was so conflammed friggin right it's not even funny, because here I am staring at the damn thing on the floor, in pieces, chewed up, and burning. *SIGH*

Can I hug Ginta? Would he allow that? Hugging, and maybe a little hair petting? Cuz I really really really wish I could scoop him up and cuddle him better. *sniffs*

You know, from the Q&A post on the OOC comm, I got the distinct impression that Ginta was quite promiscuous and not anywhere near shy about it. With that on my mind, seeing him be so affected by being ditched by Kakashi for Ryouma, made me hurt for him even more. I figure, if he sleeps around, it's because he doesn't get attached easily, and when he finally does so, it's to have this happen. I can't imagine how painful that must feel.

I was surprised to see that Ginta was the avoiding type. What I mean is, that he took that week long mission after hearing about Kakashi's and Ryouma's riverside frolic. And again, it made me hurt for him so much thinking he'd spent all these days berating himself.

OMG and this line:
And why, now of all times, was he thinking of Tomoya again? Of fights just as bitter as this, and feeling just as drained and miserable afterwards. He'd loved Tomoya. Tomoya had loved him. How could he possibly have the same kind of reaction to Kakashi, when they had nothing together?

That speaks volumes. *wibble* And they all hurt, ow. How can your heart hurt when it's no longer in your chest. Ow . . .

I was really proud of the way Ginta stood up to Kakashi and threw his retardation in his masked face. OMG . . . and that kiss . . . *DIES*

I mourn the sad results of that confrontation like you wouldn't believe though. But still glad he said what he did, because it needs to be said. Multiple times, and keep being said until Kakashi understands, dammit.

And Kakashi just keeps flirting with that love and hate line. HATAKE, MAKE UP YOUR MIND ALREADY YOU BIG LUMMOX! *Huffs* Of course I hated how he insisted on pushing Ginta away, but at the same time, I loved how he faltered after Ginta slapped him with the truth; and how vulnerable and insecure he was at the end of all that. I kinda wanted to hug him too.

Dark, these lines, they mauled me:

~If Kakashi's legs hadn't felt suddenly numb, he might have taken a step back. Ginta was wrong. He was so wrong. Ryouma--

~Kakashi tried to feel relieved and found he had nothing but exhaustion. A cold bite of loss edged around his ribcage.

~Kakashi breathed slowly against his knees, feeling Ginta's hand on the back of his neck, and waited for the sun to rise.

So now, after all that, as I sit here looking forlornly at the pitful remains of my tattered heart, I must implore Dark and Nezuko to join me on a most urgent quest: Mission - Repair Lobita's Heart.

Okay. Nezuko, you grab a fire extinguisher and put out the flames. Dark, work on straightening out those chewed up pieces. In the meantime, I'll figure out what kind of adhesive will work best to glue the damn think back together.

Are we clear? Alrightie then, everybody to their stations . . . T^T
